E-Waste

What is e-waste?

E-waste or electronic waste is an electronic product that is no longer needed, is broken or has now become useless due to its old/out dated features.

Examples of e-waste?
1  -Computer
2  -T.V
3  -Phone
4  -Camera
5  -Laptop
6  -Microwave
7  -Video Game console
8  -Video Game controller
9  -Battery
10-Clock

Why is it getting worse?
Its getting worse because now that humanity is reaching the launch point of new technology, companies will continue to mass produce billions of products every year to consumers which will create mass loads of e-waste. Due to this companies aren't actually thinking about where their waste is sent and instead think of the profit they will receive from their products.

What can we do about it?
What people can do to keep e-waste out of land fills are re-think if you actually require the latest gadget and have to trow away a possibly still functional gadget. You can also try to keep your gadget safe from being broken or infected from a virus, which will extend the life of your gadget for years to come. Donating your gadgets to others is also a great idea too; may it be family members, friends or someone in a developing country anyone can make use of them if you can't.
